13th December 2025 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Light winds Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Saturday 13th December - walks *** – Around Felixstowe – sunny with light winds. Walk 1 – Sunrise prom. Mag went on her early morning walk today and when she returned she said there might be an OK sunrise so I walked down to the pier to see. It was alright with a little red clouds and I waited for ages for the sun to appear getting a few alright pics before heading for home for breakfast in bed and sort out my photos. Sending them in to the TV weather is usually a waste of time as they are rarely picked! Walk 2 – The Dip circuit. I did my exercises and we had lunch at home and decided to drive down to The Dip for an afternoon walk inn the lovely winter sunshine. We parked at 2.15 and walked back towards Jacobs Ladder and up onto the cliff top and returning to the Cliff top car and back to the van as the sun sets. After a cuppa and mince pie I drove down to Felixstowe dock view point to catch the sunset:) Photo Album here |
